The firm's principal, Peter Zablud is one of Australia's most experienced notaries. He is the author of the authoritative text book,"Principles of Notarial Practice", which has now been sold in 21 countries.

He is a Fellow of The Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries and is the Chairman of the College's Board of Governors. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Notaries of Victoria and is a Councillor and past President of the Society. He was the first Australian individual member of the International Union of Notaries.

Professor Zablud is the Director of Notarial Studies at Melbourne's Victoria University, where he is responsible for the presentation of the programme for the Graduate Diploma of Notarial Practices – the pre-eminent qualification for Australian notaries. He also presents notarial practice courses and master classes throughout Australasia.

In constant demand as a speaker, Peter Zablud has delivered papers on various aspects of notarial practice to conferences, seminars and workshops organised by government, industry, patent attorneys and private organisations.
